Main Character Energy & Fringe of Colour Present Karaoke Kabaret, a night of Performers of Colour singing Karaoke, hosted by Temi Wilkey.
There are very few things Temi Wilkey is more passionate about than Karaoke. Nothing says Main Character Energy like choosing a song you love and sharing it with a room of people, no matter how good you are at singing. We want to invite Performers of Colour at the Fringe to take up space in the iconic Roundabout, by singing a song of their choosing.
It’s less about polish and more about commitment, this is Karaoke after all!
This will be a space for self-indulgence, POC community-building and, above all, joy. There’s nothing like singing with a room full of people and the evening’s host will definitely be encouraging the audience to sing along.
